Cerritos Wrestling (2011): Finished the season with a 19-8 overall record, which included a 15-5 mark at 133 pounds, while he was 4-3 at 141 pounds… Came in third place at 133 pounds at the West Hills Tournament and was fourth at the Lassen Tournament and posted a 5-2 record… Reached the semifinals at West Hills before losing, but came back to win the next two matches to earn third place… Won all three of his matches at 133 pounds at the Southern California Regional Team Duals, while he went 3-2 at 133 pounds at the Cuesta Tournament and Santa Ana Tournament…

North Torrance HS: Won the Pioneer League championship as a senior, finished third in the CIF Championships and seventh at Masters… Helped the team win the league championship… Named All-CIF… Spent one year on the wrestling team and three on the soccer team… Helped the soccer team to the CIF Championship game three years in a row… Named All-CIF as a junior and all-league as a sophomore…..
